Superbowl Sunday is tomorrow. Here’s a glass of the team I’m rooting for. Design is direct and to the point. It’s kind of a boring glass, but if the 49ers are your team I guess you can’t complain. 3 out of 10.
I had to try this Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye a second time before I took a shine to it. It’s not something you have every day, but I guess that’s why they call it a “Specialty Ale.” The label design translates well to the glass, and makes for a unique image. 7 out of 10.
I’ll do a review when I have a fresher one. This is the tail end of a 2 case purchase I made a while ago and is probably 6 months old now. Still delicious, but not nearly as good as it is when super fresh.
I think I might be able to get some fresh from the brewery next week.
Wish I could get this stuff… I hear it’s great…
Alchemist’s cornerstone beer is this double IPA, for a brewery to make that commitment says a lot. I’d love to try this too. The glass isn’t half bad either, 6 out of 10
I’m more a fan of Ranger than their belgian IPA Belgo. For being one of the bigger micro breweries, New Belgium has a wide variety of beers that are consistently good. I like the big, bold design of this glass, it doesn’t stray far from the packaging. 7 out of 10.
